COURSE OVERVIEW

The Certificate IV in Ageing Support program offered by TMG College Australia is designed to provide students with the opportunity to acquire practical work experience while enhancing their knowledge and skills in the field of aged care and support

ENTRY REQUIREMENTS

Domestic: This program has an entry requirement of year 10 Reading, Writing and Comprehension level and/or (ACSF Level 2) + basic computer skills for formative assessment activities and assessment submissions.

International Candidates seeking to enrol must be 18years or older, have a minimum IELTS level of 5.5 or equivalent, hold a current student visa, (Completed a minimum 12-Week General English Course of Upper-Intermediate Level) – Within the last 2 Calendar Years, Complete the TMG Language, Literacy & Numeracy (LLN) test and have access to a computer and internet for the online learning and assessment activities submission.

Successful Students can look forward to careers working as Allied heath staff – Ageing Home care – residential care Worker in community support Personal care provider or employee

EDUCATION PATHWAYS

After successful completion of this qualification, students are eligible to enter into the Diploma of Community Services.

DURATION

This course is over 52 weeks inclusive of holidays.
